Who said we couldn’t wear shorts during winter, especially when it’s those cool black leather shorts? I’m usually not one for made up fashion rules, and being part of the lucky ones where the weather is not that cold, it would be a shame not to weara good pair of leather shorts. While, I’m not brave enough to go bare legs, a pair of wool tights was a good way to stay warm.
To style these shorts, I wanted to pair them with a few of my favourite neutrals. A stripped oversized – And badly tucked in, on purpose – shirt from Topshop is how I introduced a bit of colours in the outfit. The fabric also contrasts really well with the texture of the shorts, which subtly elevate the outfit. As I’m not a big fan of coloured tights, I went for a black pair, completed with a pair of black ankle boots and timeless bag. I finished the look with a camel coat to soften the look of the outfit.
Would you wear shorts during winter, leather or not?
