Would you believe me if I tell you that being a clothes hoarder isn’t always a bad thing? While it can be completely alienating to us, and also people around us, it can be a good way to fall back in love again with some hidden gems. The truth is, I’m a clothes hoarder, I kept things from when I was 15 years old but I do, once a year, a massive closet cleaning. Spring closet cleaning is what I did a few days ago, this is when I found this old Zara pleated skirt. Finding this skirt made me realized how fast trends can be. Pleats were trendy 3 years ago and we all know that they were 2016’s biggest trend.
Quite frankly, I’m still wondering how I forgot about this babe! But I thought, it was the perfect occasion to put together a new spring outfit for the blog! The design of this skirt is so delicate that I wanted to pair it with some rough materials. Hence why, I picked my favourite distressed biker jacket. The mix of the two give a glam rock vibe that I totally love! To accessorize the outfit, I picked a pair of suede pumps from Daniel Footwear and a bucket bag from Mango for the mix of materials. To finish the look, I went for a pair of bold golden earrings from Mango, to give a strong contrast with all the black and white.
Also, you may have realized that I changed my blog header. I got it custom made by Zaffar, who is a talented letterer and he did such an amazing work that I wanted to give him a shoutout! If you also want a unique blog header, you can visit his Etsy store but also his Instagram, to see more of his work.
