If there is one piece that has been a must-have in France, since the 70s, it’s the safari jacket. It’s effortless, casual, comes in neutral colours and goes well with any of our favourite denim jeans. I’ve myself earned a lot of those jackets during my short life, mostly for chilly summer nights, but I’ve never thought I would find a blazer inspired from those type of jackets. There are great difference here and there, like the weight of the fabric and the fitted sleeves, but the inspiration is definitively here!
To style this jacket, I went for a full office friendly outfit (It has been a while since I wore this type of outfits for the blog!). Also, as I went berserk on the Mango Outlet website lately, I thought it would be the perfect occasion for an almost full Mango outfit. I paired this blazer with a pair of white striped to keep the neutral vibe. What’s funny about these two pieces is that they both can look extremely casual or chic on their own. But once paired together, they are completely different! I put on a pair of black suede pumps from Daniel Footwear and I picked a brown bag from X Nihilo, just because you don’t have to be too matchy-matchy when it comes to styling an outfit.
Ps: Don’t mind the tired face/ hooded eyes combo, I didn’t have the best of sleep lately.
