I know what you must be thinking right now: Sure, a denim jumpsuit during summer, are you insane Aria? Well, we are all aware that summer is a tricky season in terms of clothing. Most people will throw the least amount of fabric on them before leaving the house without being really happy about their outfit. But I do believe there is a way to look pulled together even under the summer heat! It’s all about the right choice of fabric and materials and that’s why I wanted to talk about denim today.
A lot of people tend to forget that a good denim is made of 100% cotton, it can be a very breathable material but also extremely lightweight. And just like linen, cotton will adjust your body temperature according to the outside temperature. That’s why both linen and cotton are wearable during every seasons, depending on the fabric’s weight but also how it has been woven. That’s why, it’s important to choose your summer clothes wisely while shopping and really pay attention to the fabric itself.
But let’s get back to the outfit! I live on the French Riviera and the weather has been extremely changing lately. That’s why, I was able to walk around with bare arms and open shoes. To style this denim jumpsuit from Etam, I paired it with a navy blazer in the morning. But as you see, this combo became way too hot for the afternoon. I also put on a pair of sling back shoes from Marks & Spencer just because these are extremely versatile despite the old school look. I also accessorized the look with my favourite basket bag from Stella Forest and finished the look with my favourite pair of hoops from Mango.
