If there is one piece I’ve struggled to style, it would be this shirt from Sezane. It’s not the type of shirt I would wear everyday as it’s really chic. Also as it’s sheer, I don’t see myself walking down the streets in broad daylight with this shirt. I’m not confident enough for it so I kept this gorgeous blouse for special occasions. However, I’m already scratching my head on how to dress down this blouse for a future outfit post!

To style this shirt, I went for a full black outfit. I don’t know why but it seemed like an evidence to me! As it’s made of a sheer fabric, I wanted a heavier material for the trousers. That’s why I picked a pair of corduroy velvet trousers from & Other Stories. You know me: I love playing with different textures and material! For the shoes, I picked a pair of shoes from Jonak. They are not too dressy, versatile and very feminine. For the bag, I picked a brown bag. I think it goes well with the rest of the outfit. I also love the warm tone of this bag!

Help me, how would you dress down this shirt? 🙂

It’s looks so chic. The light brown bag goes well with the light colored dots of the blouse. The ankle length pants gives the outfit a more casual look.

    Hi Aria
I think some pieces should never be dressed down and this is one of those pieces. This shirt is absolutely beautiful and the manner in which you have styled it compliments it’s gorgeousness 😚

If l was really pressed to changed the look l would maybe put it with white linen trousers , the bag a dark brown round straw bag and shoes hey probably white leather sandals .

Actually l have just bought a chocolate brown see through shirt with velvet cuffs collar and devore velvet flowers on the front. Maybe l can try my style idea on myself – l was at a loss what to do with it – impulse buy because it is gorgeous – practical no, gorgeous yes, just like yours!!!!!

Just my thoughts – always find your posts helpful and often refer back to previous posts if l am stuck for ideas – never lets me down 😊

I think in the first place wear a full camisole or tank
top . This will make it less sheer , I would choose a
nice black jean . The way you are wearing it looks chic !

You are very chic, as always. Thanks for reminding me to pull out the beautiful sheer navy blouse I rarely wear. I have to ask myself, why am I saving it?

I love this look! & Other Stories is one of my favourite shops and I can’t believe I missed picking up these beautiful trousers the last time I was in store!

To dress down, I would add a tank underneath and some jeans. In my opinion, a sheer shirt can definitely be made more wearable by a basic cami!

Such a pretty look dear. I love the touch of vintage of this outfit, especially the top.
