A velvet embroidered jacket and a basket bag

For as long as I remember, I’ve always been a big fan of anything velvet. Velvet has always been one of the chicest material in my opinion. Not to mention how timeless it is! It’s not a big surprise if I say I fell in love with the jacket I’m wearing on the photos above. It’s black, velvet and embroidered, anything that I like!

To style this jacket, I just picked a few of classics I have in my wardrobe. I paired it with a pair of flare jeans from Mango which are my favourite. The white tank top that I picked is super simple but it helps to lighten the outfit up a bit. Then, I finished the look with a pair of mules and a basket bag. Overall this is a super simple outfit but I made sure to add a few statement pieces here and there to make the outfit more interesting.

How would you style this jacket?

Embroidered velvet jacket: Zara/ Flare jeans: Mango/ Birkin basket bag: Space Rocket Store/ Mules: Mango

I love this velvet jacket! I had one just like it from Zara last year and am now having major remorse for getting rid of it.

    Hi Aria
Isn’t that just the most beautiful jacket ever!
However it was styled l think it would have to be your way ie ‘don’t gild the lily’ – let the jacket stand on its own. I am petite so l would style it with skinny ankle grazer black jeans, white cami and black boots/ballerinas – not sure about a bag, maybe a clutch bag, hmm don’t know!
    Just my thoughts

I love velvet so much too! I would throw this one over a simple long slip dress with some sandals.

I am a true fan of velvet too ! and as much as I like the straw bag I cannot imagine carrying it would be comfortable.

Flairs look better with platforms, not with pumps.

I love the jacket, but the basket bag is the cutest. I will definitely look into buying one of these.
