Now , in Provence, temperatures have raised up to 30°c (around 85°F). It’s not a big surprise that I would switch my jeans for a lovely above the knee dress. That dress comes from one of my favourite parisian brand, Idano. Everytime they release a new collection, I just want to get it all. However, as I’m not made of money, I always go for the pieces that speak to me the most.

Like I said, the temperatures are dramatically higher here. As you can imagine, adding extra layers of clothes for the sake of one of “statement Instagram outfit” wasn’t on my to-do list. That’s why today’s outfit is rather chill and simple. To style this dress, I just picked a pair of black shoes from Jonak. Both pieces go really well together. As this outfit was lacking of colours, I went for a tan straw bag. It’s not the boldest choice from me but you know me! I’m quite a discreet person and I think it reflects on my style.

How would you style this dress?

I love this outfit – especially the straw bag! Since the dress is in a floral print, it’s nice to see that it’s in black because that makes it different and will be a nice change this coming season from all the reds and yellows!

Totally love this dress and that small open detail on the back! I would definitely wear some white sneakers for a day of walking around in this dress!!

Love your style! If it were a little cooler – like it is here in NY, I would add a cropped a sweater.

Cute dress! I love the heels that you paired it with too. I didn’t realize it got that warm in Provence. I wouldn’t add any extra layers either in that case. 🙂

I looove the trend of straw bags! I just started making some with artisans in Mexico, they are made with so much love into animal shapes.
Take a look! Maybe we could do something together.
